The 1st Gambling Policy Conference: Global Prospects, Nordic Perspectives

The 1st Gambling Policy Conference: Global Prospects, Nordic Perspectives is a step towards establishing cooperation and a knowledge exchange in the area of gambling policies in the Nordic countries, with a global outlook. The international conference takes place at the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), Helsinki, Finland 6-7 November 2017. It targets a broad audience of researchers, civil servants, decision-makers and civil society.
The participation is free of charge, participants cover their own travel and accommodation.

For those who cannot cover their own travel expenses, there is a possibility to apply for the conference’s early stage career scholars’ travel and accommodation grants.
The conference is arranged in cooperation between the Nordic Welfare Center, the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), the University of Helsinki Centre for Research on Addiction Control and Governance (CEACG) and the Finnish Foundation for Alcohol Studies (FFAS).
